MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - Boris Said has proven that he can tame the twisting turns of a road course in a race car, but the veteran NASCAR Winston Cup driver will be put to another test on Saturday, October 7. The tricky business of billiards.

Said will trade in his racing helmet for a pool cue when he is joined by Bay Area motorsports stars Jennifer Tumminelli, James Randolph, and others in a fund-raiser benefiting The Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation. The event will take place at Pockets Billiards in Mountain View beginning at 5 p.m. as lucky fans will be able to battle racing stars in a billiards tournament.

Pockets Billiards is located in downtown Mountain View at 251 Castro Street directly across from the Lime Light night club (650)-961-7744

Also on display will be the exciting art of Chucke Walkden, who has been photographing Bay Area motorsports for more than 5 years.

Walkden will feature an unparalleled presentation of motorsports art from NASCAR, CART, NHRA drag racing, AMA motorcycles, American Le Mans Series sports cars, Powerboats and other motorsports genres. He also will feature a special gallery on Said, who is a two-time winner at Sears Point Raceway in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ALM S. Walkden is the official photographer at Sears Point Raceway and a contributor at Laguna Seca Raceway.

Tumminelli, a native of Los Gatos, is only the second female driver to compete in the ALMS, while Randolph, a Santa Rosa resident, is a star rider in the AMA. All racers will participate in an autograph session for the fans.

The star-studded night will also feature racing machines on display and a benefit drawing for several racing and billiards related prizes. The grand prize for the lucky winner of the billiards tournament will include a framed 20x30" photograph from Walkden's private collection.

Entrance to the event is free. For more information, please visit www.racephotos.com or call 408-727-5672
