Paul Walker and Roger Rodas lost their lives over a year ago in a tragic accident.
Unfortunately, the Walker and Rodas families are now embroiled in a legal dispute worth $1.8 million dollars. The father of the late Paul Walker has filed the claim against the family of late Roger Rodas, who died with Paul on that tragic day.
A combination of excessive speed and aging tires led to the accident that destroyed the Porsche Carrera GT and killed both men last November. Together, they owned an impressive collection of cars, which went up for sale earlier this year. They are the basis of this new legal battle.
“The estate of Roger W. Rodas (..) is in possession of numerous automobiles and other motor vehicles that are either wholly or partially owned by the creditor," the lawsuit reads. "Walker Sr. seeks the return of the vehicles at issue and/or creditor’s proportionate share of any sales proceeds derived from the sale of such vehicles.”
