Lincoln Welders, KLMS continue marketing partnership

Salem, IN (November 27, 2001) – Lincoln Welders, a division of Lincoln Electric Company, will continue its marketing partnership with the Kendall Late Model Series for the upcoming 2002 racing season. For the fourth year in a row Lincoln Welders will be an Award Sponsor of the Kendall Late Model Series. Lincoln Welders will present the 2002 Kendall Series Points Champion with a welder at the 2002 Kendall Series awards banquet. In addition, Lincoln Welders will award an additional welder, by random draw, to a team finishing in the top fifteen in Kendall Series points.

2001 Kendall Series champion Brian Ross will be receiving a welder from Lincoln Welders at the upcoming Kendall Series Awards Banquet on January 12th. Ross received a welder from Lincoln Welders when he won the Kendall Series championship in 1999, the first season Lincoln Welders was a sponsor with the Kendall Series.

Lincoln Welders will be hosting a MIG / TIG Welding and Plasma Cutting workshop on Friday, February 1, 2002. The workshop will be held at the Jefferson Community Technical College located at 727 West Chestnut Street in Louisville, Kentucky. The workshop will begin at 8:30AM and will end at about 4:30PM, there will be a $50 registration fee for the workshop.

The workshop will help race team members gain knowledge from the industry leader in welding and cutting technology, and will improve attendee’s skills with a hands-on workshop. Kendall Series teams will be receiving registration information by mail in the near future. The Kendall Late Model Series, ARCA, Salem Speedway, and the Lincoln Electric Company are sponsoring the workshop.
