International Speedway Corporation names Aubrey Harris, Director of Consumer Sales and Marketing.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (May 2, 2002)-- Aubrey Harris, who for the past four years has served as Director of Operations for DAYTONA USA, International Speedway Corporation's one-of-kind interactive motorsports attraction, has been named Director of Consumer Event Marketing. Robin Braig, vice president of Consumer Sales and Marketing, made the announcement today.
In her new position, Harris, will develop and manage ISC's consumer marketing initiatives for promoting ISC facilities and events at other sporting events and non-traditional entertainment venues.
"Aubrey's experience while at DAYTONA USA makes her an invaluable addition to an already talented consumer marketing team," said Braig. "Her knowledge of ISC and the motorsports industry makes her the ideal person to develop and manage future business opportunities which exist within our company and our industry."
Harris joined the company in 1995, serving as marketing coordinator at DUSA. She has also held various positions including Daytona International Speedway Tour Manager and DUSA floor operations manager.
She was named DUSA director of operations in 1998 where she oversaw several facets of the business including daily attraction operations, ticket operations, speedway tours, technical services as well as coordinating event promotional logistics and appearances. She also oversaw the recently completed Phase II expansion of the "Official Attraction of NASCAR."
"I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with the consumer marketing group," said Harris. "I look forward to showcasing ISC many facilities and events as we continue to position ISC as the highest level of motorsports entertainment."
