Englewood, CO - March 16, 2001 - Autobucks Inc.® announced today that two-time Indianapolis 500 winner, Al Unser Jr. will be their national spokesperson, and that they will be an associate sponsor for Galles Racing in the 2001 Indy Racing Northern Light series.
The sponsorship of Unser and Galles Racing provides national recognition for the recently launched customer-loyalty program. Autobucks' sponsorship includes personal appearances by Unser and logo placement on Unser's car, the Galles Racing Starz Super Pak. The Indy Racing Northern Light Series 2001 season kicks off on March 18 in Phoenix, Arizona at the Pennzoil Copper World Indy 200.
Al Unser Jr. is one of racing's most acclaimed drivers and was voted the Indy Racing Northern Light Series' most popular driver in 2000. "Unser is a well-respected and highly renowned entity in auto racing and will bring a great deal of recognition to Autobucks as our national spokesperson," says Autobucks CEO, Bert Bassford.
Galles Racing has had a significant impact in open-wheel Indy racing, including winning the 1992 Indianapolis 500, and the 1990 PPG CART championship. Galles Racing car owner, Rick Galles, has several automobile dealerships, including the largest Chevrolet Dealership in New Mexico. "We are very excited to align ourselves with Autobucks, says Galles. "his relationship can benefit both of our organizations now and into the future."

Autobucks will align its nationwide launch schedule with the 2001 Indy Racing Northern Light season and rollout the membership program in the 12 cities on the race series. Autobucks will utilize its sponsorship to attract local automotive dealers and grow recognition for the program overall.
