At Walt Disney World Speedway, Tavon Watson (24) was taking part in the exotic car Richard Petty Driving Experience, which originally started with NASCAR stock cars and expanded in recent years. Riding with him was 36-year-old Gary Terry, operations manager and lead driving instructor from 2001 to 2013.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Watson lost control of the Lamborghini while attempting to maneuver through a corner, striking the end of a guardrail on the passenger side. The impact killed Terry, who was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Watson suffered only minor injuries.

Photos of the crash, which suggest that the armco may have punctured the car by the angle of impact, can be seen on WFTV's website HERE
