MIAMI (July 19, 2001) -- Curtis Gray, President of Homestead-Miami Speedway, has named Diana Serna as the Speedway's Marketing Manager. Serna will coordinate Homestead-Miami Speedway's community relations programs as well as specific marketing programs including the Speedway's Kidz Club and the Summer Rewards/Tell-A-Friend Program.

Prior to joining Homestead-Miami Speedway, Serna was the Promotions Manager for Miami Seaquarium from 2000-2001. From 1998-2000, Serna held the position of Senior Manager of Meeting Planning and Special Events for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. Prior to her stint at the GMCC, Serna was Media Relations Coordinator at the University of Miami School of Medicine.

Personally active in the community, Serna is currently the Co-Chair for the Women in Business Group at the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. A member of Miami-Dade's Cops for Kids program, Serna is also the Publicity Chair for the South Miami Relay for Life which benefits the American Cancer Society

Raised in Cutler Ridge, Serna now resides in Miami and is a student at Miami-Dade Community College.
