George J. Signore joins SSG/Brandintense as Motorsports Development Representative
Archdale, North Carolina -- SSG/Brandintense, provider of specialized event marketing services, announced today George Signore is joining their team in the role of Motorsports Business Development. "We are very pleased to have George on the SSG/Brandintense team", stated Ron Gaines, President. "He brings additional strengths to our organization, including great enthusiasm and years of motorsports experience."
George J. Signore is the former Series Director of the International Race of Champions (IROC) and will work in SSG/Brandintense's Motorsports Business Development department.
Signore literally grew up around auto racing following his older brother, Jay Signore's professional motorsports career as a driver, long-time Penske Racing manager and IROC Series President. George, the younger Signore, spent nearly 20-years with his brother Jay and the IROC Series working in a variety of capacities with numerous major sanctioning bodies, drivers, motorsports venues, broadcast partners and sponsors. Over the course of his IROC career, Signore served as Parts Manager, Tire Specialist, Pit Crew (inside gunner), Public Relations Director and Series Director. In 2007 Signore joined Penske Racing and worked in Sponsor Services and Public Relations before returning to assist in the closure of the IROC Series.

Signore's new responsibilities will include further developing SSG/Brandintense's portfolio of motorsports clients. Services available within the portfolio Signore is charged with developing include; at-track hospitality, simulator and show car programs, at-track activation, sponsorship activation and sponsorship negotiation.
SSG/Brandintense was founded in 1993 by two-time Winston Cup Champion Terry Labonte and local businessman, Ron Gaines. Capabilities consist of mobile exhibits, product sampling, corporate hospitality, multicultural marketing, specialty equipment fabrication, costume management, over the road scheduling and sports and entertainment marketing. Clients include Kellogg's, MARS Snackfood US, Domino's, Advance Auto Parts, SunTrust, Pepsi and The Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation.
