Statement from Alessandro Mariani.

We are pleased to inform you that, in order to consolidate our activities, we made the Motorsport division of J.A.S. Engineering independent.

A new company named " MilanTech S.r.l. " has been established and it took over the J.A.S. Motorsport department.

Thus the brand J.A.S. Motorsport, well known in the motor racing world, will keep on supporting all the Honda Motor Europe sporting activities by building and developing the racing versions of the Honda production cars. This will be done in the Cusago-based factory that will be further developed in order to always offer very high quality services in the future.

The Milan Tech shareholders are Maurizio Ambrogetti and Giorgio Schon, two of the J.A.S. Engineering founders; engineer Alessandro Mariani always responsible for the all Motorsport activities has joined them as co-owner.

In order to continue the racing activity that since the company was born committed us to be involved in the major Touring Car championships, we have established a new team named Dart Racing that took over, under engineer Bruno's direction, part of the personnel who worked at our racing programmes in the previous years.

Supported by the petrol company IP, Dart Racing will make its debut in the 2002 FIA European Touring Car Championship running an Alfa Romeo 156 GTA car for the British driver Tom Ferrier.
