Salem, Ind. (January 29, 2002) – Veteran short track racer Bull Baker has come to an agreement with Car Brite to sponsor his number 78 Chevrolet for the 2002 CRA Sunoco Super Series season. Baker, who captured the biggest victory of his career in 2001 when he won the Anderson 400, will also carry sponsorship from Stoops Automotive Group.

“It’s great to have Car Brite as a sponsor for 2002 in the Sunoco Super Series,” said Baker. “To have two great sponsors like Car Brite and Stoops Automotive Group is a big help heading into the season.”

Baker has made 60 starts with the SSS, with three career victories, two pole positions and 27 top-10 finishes. In 2001, he obtained a childhood goal of winning the Anderson 400, one of the toughest short track races in the country. The historic event has seen such legends as Tiny Lund, Alan Kulwicki, Butch Miller, Mike Eddy, Bob Senneker and Mark Martin claim the checkered flag. The five-year veteran of the series has also claimed victories at Winchester Speedway in Labor Day events in 1998 and 1999.
