The BFGoodrich brand has signed on for another season as the official tire of the Championship Off Road Racing Series. In addition, the brand will support the series' 2001 edition with a lucrative contingency program, tractor-trailer support and a supply of BFGoodrich T/A tires, American's premier off-road radials.

"CORR provides a great showcase for our BFGoodrich performance light-truck and SUV tires, and an excellent place to entertain our dealers," said Frank DeAngelo, program manager. "This season, we'll be hosting dealers from Europe at several of the events. It's an opportunity to give them a first-hand look at how our tires perform in tough conditions. The information they gain by seeing our products in action is invaluable in helping them sell BFGoodrich tires to their customers."

For 2001, the BFGoodrich Tires contingency fund totals more than $165,000, including $10,000 bonuses for championships in the Pro-2 and Pro-4 divisions, and a $5,000 award for a year-end title in Pro-Lite. The fund also offers awards for event wins in those classes, as well as in the Sportsman 2, Sportsman Stock, Super Buggy, Single Buggy and Single Light Buggy categories.

The familiar BFGoodrich tractor-trailer will be on-site and staffed with tire technicians to provide tire mounting and grooving support for teams running on BFGoodrich tires at the events.

Scott Taylor, Rob MacCachren and Jeff Kincaid, 2000 championship winners in the three Pro classes last year, will return to defend their titles in their BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/AKR-equipped race trucks. The BFGoodrich brand also will offer a full line of performance light truck tires to competitors in the series.

BFGoodrich tires are made for people looking to take control of the driving experience. BFGoodrich Tires combine technological expertise with the experience gained on and off the racetrack to offer a traction advantage for every type of vehicle and driving experience.
