Hawk Corporation (NYSE: HWK) announced today the appointment of Christopher DiSantis as Vice President - Corporate Development. Mr. DiSantis is responsible for Hawk's acquisition and integration programs along with several strategic operating initiatives in continuous improvement.
Mr. DiSantis brings to Hawk a wealth of financial and operating experience. Most recently he was a Vice President of Seabury Metals in New York City, where he was directly responsible for the acquisition program and start-up of an aluminum dross recycler. Prior to Seabury, he worked with AG Industries, Inc. a rebuilder of continuous casting equipment, where he had various operating roles including profit and loss responsibility for a $20.0 million equipment manufacturer.
DiSantis, a native of Philadelphia, PA, has degrees in Math and Economics from Dartmouth College.
