As the 2000 CART FedEx Championship Series moves to Canada in July for the MOLSON INDY Toronto event weekend, CART Driving 101 will begin its participation in the film's production, thereby revising its summer 2000 schedule at California Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
CART Driving 101 President and CEO, Robert Lutz, says "I am proud to be involved in the films production, to be directed by Renny Harlin. If you saw the last film Stallone and Harlin did together, 'Cliffhanger', you understand how it will be an action packed, intense film".
The world-renowned actor and filmmaker and his production team will utilize a Champ Car storyline, with a planned 2001 theatrical release date from Franchise Pictures to be distributed through Warner Bros.
