(Indianapolis, IN) -- Gemstar Communications, Inc. has joined PacWest Racing Group in a Marketing & Sales alliance and will become an associate sponsor for its Indy Lights series effort, beginning this season.
PacWest Racing Group was formed by Bruce R. McCaw in 1993 and currently fields two cars in the FedEx Championship Series and also competes in the Dayton Indy Lights Championship. PacWest Racing employs 94 for its race and marketing operations in Indianapolis, 17 of which are dedicated solely to marketing the team and its partners. This makes it the most comprehensive in-house marketing effort in motorsports.
Gemstar will be represented through car signage and will also have the chance to make use of the many networking opportunities developed by PacWest to further business-to-business relationships.
"Gemstar Communications, Inc. produces cutting edge technology and we are excited about partnering with them," said McCaw, owner of PacWest Racing Group. "It's also very exciting to help Gemstar reach a wider audience through their involvement with us and to achieve their goals through these new business opportunities," continued McCaw.
Gemstar is a publicly held wireless data company founded in 1992 with headquarters in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Gemstar has augmented its technology and business approach by continuing to develop a number of strategic partnerships that allows them to provide the best possible solution available to their clients.
