Corporate giant Anheuser Busch has announced a new contingency program that benefits the crewmembers of NASCAR.

Currently sponsoring the Busch Grand National Series, Dale Earnhardt JR, and several races, the brewing company has announced the "top ten" competition to promote friendly rivalries among Busch Grand National teams.

Teams who place in the top ten of any event will be able to display a contingency sticker on the car. In addition, much in the same fashion that a football player will be given a game ball, winning teams will be presented with a top ten helmet.

At seasons end, the team with the most top tens will receive a one-year supply of Anheuser Busch product. An identical award will be given to the team that displays a top ten helmet in the most creative fashion.

"The season is gearing up to be one of the best yet, and we feel the top ten promotion is a great opportunity to showcase the sportsmanship we're seeing each weekend at the track, " notes Steve Uline, the Director of Sports Marketing and Bud Sports.

Beginning in Richmond, Top ten helmets began popping up all over the garage area.

Most teams are receptive to the program, and it appears to be a pleasant distraction from the normally stressful work area.
