Ashlee Pletch of Indianapolis, Ind. has joined the USAC News & Communications Staff as an assistant to USAC Vice-President Dick Jordan. Her duties include all news media-related functions, including assisting with onsite track operations as well as the bi-weekly USAC Newsletter and the USAC website.

A graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Ashlee is well versed in motorsports, having served as a team organizational manager for her father, USAC Sprint Car veteran Terry Pletch of Frankfort, Ind., including developing motorsports-related team promotional materials.

As an employee of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in Indianapolis, Ind, she performed administrative duties involving finance and operations and as an employee of Fine Light, Inc. in Bloomington, Ind. she assisted in media placement and creative planning and conducted market research while coordinating focus groups utilizing budgeting, time-management and organizational skills.

In addition to assisting with day-to-day operations of USAC's Communications Department, Ashlee will interact with USAC's participants and race organizers in expanding USAC's growing image as the "Starting Line for Champions."
