Two Auto GP drivers will be on the GP2 grid in Hockenheim next weekend. Besides Luca Filippi, driving for SuperNova as he already did in Silverstone, there will be also Romain Grosjean. The Frenchman, 2nd in the series standings two points adrift from Piscopo, will contest the Main Series races with DAMS, the same team that fields him in Auto GP. Following his astounding performances in the series (in just two events, Spa and Magny-Cours, he clinched two wins and one second place) Grosjean was chosen by Gravity Management to step in for Jerôme D'Ambrosio, taking the seat of the Renault F.1 liveried car. Romain will have a very important task: thanks to his talent and experience he will try to analyse the reasons why the D'Ambrosio/DAMS pairing has been unable to fully unlock its potential so far this season.

At the moment this should be a one-off commitment for Grosjean, with D'Ambrosio due to take back his seat for the next races.

Enzo Coloni: "I'm very pleased that after Filippi also Grosjean managed to get back in GP2. Everybody knows how talented he is, but after exiting F1 at the end of 2009 he was a bit forgotten. He got back under the spotlight thanks to his great performances in Auto GP, showing that he's still among the fastest guys out there. That's wht Gravity chose him for such a sensitive task, and this shows that the Auto GP concept is working really well, that key people in motorsport are looking at our series with great interest".
