Farfus still at the TOP, Heidfeld begins to work on the set up of his F.3000
The dynamic duo of Augusto Farfus Junior and Sven Heidfeld completed another successful test session today at Vallelunga, Italy. Team Draco continued the development programme started yesterday preparing to the first event of the Euro 3000 Series schedule to be held on April 27th at Estoril, Portugal.
The young Brazilian confirmed his strong performance signing the best lap time in 1'03'77 that improves the time of 1'04''13 set in day 1. At the end of the test day, Augusto declared his satisfaction for the work done on the car and said to be very confident for the upcoming season 2003.
His team mate Sven Heidfeld, on the contrary, concentrated his job on a punctilious and patient research of the best set up for his driving style. Team Draco proved various different aerodynamic solutions that needed more time.
Adriano Morini -- Team Principal
"I think we have started in the right direction and obviously our main objective is to be between the top teams, fighting for the Title. Augusto's lap times just confirm the good job done by him and the team; he has a good feeling with his Lola so now he has only to sharpen himself. Sven is at his first approach to this kind of car: we have to patience and wait until he has understood the car and he has learnt the tracks. At the present time we are working on this".
