Siedler believes in his chances and looks forward to Spa

Three weeks have quickly elapsed and the Euro 3000 circus is on the move again, this time heading for Spa, one of the most fascinating circuits in the world. ADM driver Norbert Siedler will be on familiar ground, following his last years Pole Position for his Milan-based team.

The 6.986 km long Circuit de Spa Francochamps, a one hours' drive south of Maastricht is not only one of the highlights of Grand-Prix-Racing but also of European Formula 3000. "It is my favourite track", says Norbert, "although my memories of the race in 2004 are not the best ones. I was 1st on the grid but on a wrong strategy, because we had expected some mixed conditions between wet and dry. The rain came, but two hours too late for me."

Anyway, that's history and Norbert is now looking forward to his second attempt in the Belgian Ardennes. "We should be in a good shape and I hope that I gather some more Pole Positions and wins in this season."

His team principal, Renato Melchioretto, a man with an experience of 30 years in motorsport, including Formula 1 with Alfa Romeo, is absolutely convinced that his Austrian driver will get to the very top within the next two years: "Norbert is the quickest driver, I have seen for a long time and an extremely professional young guy."
