THE EUROSERIES 3000 ERA ENDS IN MONZA
FROM 2010 A NEW CHAMPIONSHIP WITH A 1.200.000 EUROS PRIZE
Euroseries 3000 is in Monza to decide its 2009 champion, but the managing staff is already looking to 2010. Everything is getting in place for next season, which will bring great news. The first one, is that the current season, ending this weekend in Monza, will be last one for the Euroseries 3000.
In 2010 a new era will begin, with a brand new championship supported by new and strong partnerships which allowed the organization to define a top notch package which combines an unparalleled cash prize and a low budget to contest the whole season:
* a prize of 200.000 euros for each event which, given a race calendar made of six events boosts the total up to 1.200.000 euros.
* a requested budget of 380.000 in order to contest the whole season.
Impressive figures, unparalleled in the feeder series scenario and with a clear purpose: turning the championship in a unique possibility, in a racing series where the drivers can race like pros getting money for their performances, a really rare occasion in this days. Besides that, the new championship will represent an important school for all the talents who wish to proceed to the upper steps of motor racing until F.1.
The only point that the new championship will share with the Euroseries 3000 will be the car. The Lola B05/52 has been confirmed as an absolute strong asset being a fast and reliable car, unequalled in the performance-cost ratio. Also thanks to that, the budget required for the whole season will be so low, a figure which, until now, allowed access only to series with weaker performances.
The championship staff is working on the definition of the last details which will be issued on October 23rd, day of the official unveiling of the series.
