Rusinov will race in the Euro 3000 series for the GP Racing team.

Roman Rusinov has just reached an agreement which will commit him for the next year to the Venetian team GP Racing. For the first time in his career, the young Russian driver will race in the challenging international Euro 3000 championship series. Roman Rusinov therefore has become the first driver of the GP Racing team. In the next few days, the Venetian team will announce the second driver who will compete along with Rusinov in the next season.

Roman was born in Russia on the 21st of October, 1981. In 1997, Rusinov moved to Paris for his studies and it was there that he started his karting career. His talent and speed made him move up real fast. After one season in Formula Campos and two in Formula Renault France, Roman finished in third place last season in Formula Palmer Audi. He had one win, seven podium positions and one pole position. For further information on Roman Rusinov, please contact his official website :www.rusinov.com

I'm very happy about the agreement reached with Rusinov. He is a fast and intelligent young man. This year we are giving him an opportunity to prove his talent in a formula series that is more challenging. For us, Roman represents a bet we have made and believe we can win.

Roman Rusinov

I had the chance to meet the GP Racing team in Vallelunga on the 23rd and 24 th of November 2002 when I participated in a test session. I immediately get on well with the team. Although I had never raced with such a powerful car before, I made excellent time. At the end of the test session, I was in third place with 1.04.90 as my best time.

I must have given GP Racing a good impression if they have decided to give me this opportunity. I think that this will be an excellent experience for my career, I hope in the very first races to repay them for the trust they have in me.
