Another sensational Pole for Marco Bonanomi in the single qualification session on the Mugello Circuit, for the 5th round of the Euroseries 3000 and 3rd round of the F3000 Italian Championship. The driver from Lecco holds a clean sweep record, having set the fastest time in all the official practices. He maintained his leadership through all the 30 minutes, profiting from a fuel pump issue happened to his Fisichella Motorsport team-mate, Giacomo Ricci.
Oliver Martini amazingly took the last spot in first row, putting behind the fastest of Euronova's group, Vitaly Petrov, and scoring a great pace, running between 4 tenths of second from the polesetter. Stefano Gattuso is set to start from second row side-by-syde with the Russian, while Cressoni will have a tough time triyng to get back a top-three position. He's going to be partnered in row 3 by Jerome D'Ambrosio, who seems to increase each time his feeling with the new car.
