POLE POSITION FOR OMAR LEAL (DURANGO), AHEAD OF FABIO ONIDI (GP RACING) AND ADAM KHAN (TP FORMULA) - EIGHT DRIVERS IN THREE TENTHS

Pole position for the Columbian Omar Leal and for the Durango team. At the end of a spectacular qualifying session on the Misano Adriatico track, the 18-years-old Omar Leal gets his first pole position in the Euroseries 3000 championship with the best time of 1'25''547, ahead of the Italian Fabio Onidi (GP Racing) for just 20 thousands of a second and of the Anglo- Pakistan Adam Khan (TP Formula), 70 thousands behind.

For all the 30 minutes the drivers exchanged many times the top of the standings, showing the great technical level of the F.3000 championship, always stepstone for the young newcomers, as you can see from the gaps among the various drivers: eight of them are split by just 585 thousands of a second.

Immediately behind are the second GP Racing driver, the Italian Fabrizio Crestani (1'25''643), Bull Racing's French Nicolas Prost (1'25''706) and Monaco's rookie Clivio Piccione (1'25''734). All Brazilian fourth row with Bull Racing's Fabio Beretta (1'25''941) and Luiz Razia (1'26''132). Completing the starting grid are the second Sighinolfi Autoracing driver Matteo Cozzari (1'26'767) and the Dracone-Zapata duo.

The F.3000 show will come back this afternoon at 18.10 with the first race which will see the drivers doing 18 laps. As usual live broadcast on Nuvolari TV (SKY 218)
