Ricci & Bonanomi: the final match
It will be an exciting week-end for the final act of 2006 season in Misano. The two Fisichella Motor Sport drivers, Giacomo Ricci and Marco Bonanomi are now very closed, and will fight hard on the two races scheduled for Sunday.
Ricci is leading both in Euroseries 3000, by 5 points, and in the F.3000 Italian Championship, by 6, but the 19 points still to be assigned show clearly that nothing has been decided yet, with Bonanomi strengthened by the win of last wee-end in Vallelunga.
Misano will keep us with bated breath also for the fight between the russian Vitaly Petrov (Euronova) and the brazilian Tuka Rocha (Minardi), struggling for the third place in both Championships.
Very interesting will also be the first woman's partecipation in the Series: the F.3000 Rookies' Team lines up the autrian 16 years old Bianca Steiner who, already protagonist of the 2006 Formula Renault 1.6, thanks to Coloni Motorsport's initiative, will taste the more powerful single seater, and consider her step into this category next season.
This last round presents also the debut of an other young promising driver, the brazilian Diego Nunes, coming fron F3 Sudam, where he currently holds the third position with many chances to become champion.
The 19 years old Southamerican will replace,in Minardi Team, the spanish Roldan Rodriguez, engaged this week end in Jerez, fighting for Spanish F3 title.
On this basis, it's sure that the season final, which will crown 2006 Champion both in Euroseries 3000 and in F.3000 Italian Championship, will be full of emotions.
