GP Racing in The Lead at The Vallelunga Test Session

For the upcoming season start on May 2nd in Pergusa next month, the teams that are participating in the Superfund Euro 3000 series got together for a test session on the Vallelunga roman circuit (Tuesday March 30th and Wednesday March 31st) .

GP Racing had behind its wheel its two drivers of the season:Fabrizio Del Monte and Maxime Hodencq. Fabrizio Del Monte; last year's European vice champion, set the best time with the #6 Lola:1'04''738.Everyone was very satisfied with this result at the pitbox. The Venetian team has completed its technical staff and has improved its telemetry technology. All this because the team knows that passion, solidarity and the need to professionally grow are the keys to success.

Tancredi Pagiaro

"I came back from Vallelunga comforted by all of the positive sensations we got during the test session.I noticed that the drivers are anxious to race again and to prove our competitiveness. The variable weather conditions allowed us to test on the wet and on a dry track as well.Fabrizio immediately challenged his adversaries and set the fastest lap while Maxime gained more confidence with a car that is very demanding for him. Fabrizio is by now a very pleasurable confirmation and Maxime is continously progressing physically and technically. With the help of our engineers, this season with be very useful for the Belgian young driver who will get a chance to earn some experience. The second test session was characterized by the rain but things worked out well for us.We were able to work on different car set ups for wet tracks. Apart from a few off-track moments on the sand, I'm glad to say that we didn't have any serious problems and completed our schduled program."

Fabrizio Del Monte

"I'm obviously very happy.Setting the best time during these 2 days, proves how competitive we are. However, we can't count our chickens before they hatch. We will see everyone else's potential during the first race in Pergusa scheduled on May 2nd.Nevertheless, we will try to be amongst the leaders."

Maxime Hodencq

"Physically I am at my 60%.I still need to work hard to reach my tip-top shape. These cars are very challenging to drive and I therefore have to work on my physical condition. The team has been helping me a lot and I now have to get ready to be at my 100% for the first race."
