GP Racing & Fabrizio Del Monte: A Renewed Agreement
January 28, 2004 Faenza, Italy -- The news had already spread in the motor sport industry but the final signature was still missing. Now, it's official: GP Racing and Fabrizio Del Monte have sealed the deal for the 2004 season in the Euro 3000 Series.
For the second consecutive year, Del Monte will be competing for the Venetian team in a category that this year has been renamed: Superfund Euro 3000. Del Monte was the Vice Champion of this series last year.
, Team Manager
"After a great season in 2003, Fabrizio had become one of the most sought after drivers on the market for this category. However, Del Monte never denied his desire to stay with us in 2004. We had already reached a verbal agreement a while back and so the signing of this contract was just a formality. To say that I'm satisfied is to say the least. I'm convinced that together with Fabrizio, we will fight to conquer the top positions."

"Like Tancredi said, signing the contract was just a formality. In reality, we had already reached an agreement a while back. My opinion of the team both on a professional level and on an individual level is great, so I never had any doubts. My objective this year is obvious: I want to win. To make this happen, we need to work hard and this doesn't scare me. Better yet, I can't wait for the season to start so I can tackle my adversaries and prove our potential."
