Team Draco tests in Vairano : Pastorelli sets the circuit record

Wednesday 24th March, Draco J.Team moved to Vairano circuit again, to continue its test schedule, in view of Superfund-Euro3000 Championship beginning.

Because of humidity on track, Draco J.Team started to work seriously only in the early afternoon, but in a short time it concluded a good work and it obtained positive results.

At the end of the day, a technical modification on the Nicky Pastorelli's one-seater, it allowed to the Italo-Dutch driver to set, with the last set of tyres, the circuit record : 0.52''8 .

Also Fausto Ippoliti carried out notable results, his best lap was : 0.53''1.

This difference ( three tenth) was due to this technical change, wich it was made, at the moment, only on Pastorelli's car, for his greater experience with these one-seaters.

So, the two drivers obtained the same time virtually, because the Draco's technicians calculated to gain three tenth on lap with this modification.

Today we phone Mr Adriano Morini, Draco Team Owner, now engaged in Monza, as Manager of Augusto Farfus, for his first race in ETCC Championship, and he says :

"I'm satisfied with the professionalism of the two drivers. On track they demonstrate collaboration, but also a sound antagonism. Now we'll see what happen in Vallelunga, during the common test."

So, next engagement in Vallelunga, the 30th and 31st March, for the Superfund-Euro3000 common test, with the presence of 18 cars.
