Team Draco takes first 2003 victory and extends championship point's score.

The third race of the Euro 3000 Series Championship will be one of the most important and exciting race for Team Draco and Augusto Farfus. Started from pole position the talented ace was able to make a perfect start and he set a torrid pace leading the group until he crossed the chequered flag. 31 laps turned under a strong rhythm imposed by the Brazilian that was able to win 6.36 seconds ahead 2nd finished Nicky Pastorelli. Team Draco's driver Sven Heidfeld, who was able to race despite being in pain at his chest, that prevented him from giving his maximum, delivered a gallant performance in finishing seventh, just one place out from the point zone. After the green lights he tried to push more and keep his starting position but he had finally to settle for 7th place because of the pains that were increasing lap by lap. Sven begun to suffer during the second testing session of Friday when he had an accident that sharpened his pains. Sven will know be visited by a specialist in order to be in good shape fort he next race that will be held at Monza on 29th June.

Team Draco and Augusto Farfus picking up 10 points have increased their scoring points into Teams and Drivers standings.

Sven Heidfeld (car #7) -- P7 "I had a difficult race today because of some pains at my chest that I begun to suffer some months ago after an accident in go-kart. I tough I had resolved them, but I had a bad touch here in Pergusa and since that moment I begun to suffer again. This morning I was visited by a medical that was racing in another series, but it was really difficult for me to push hard during the race and to maintain the same rhythm of the others".

Augusto Farfus Junior (car #8) -- P1, WINNER "It is a special day for me today! It was a fantastic race: I made a good start and since then I could manage the race without any problem and increase my advantage on Pastorelli. I want to thank all my team who gave me a car capable to of winning and this victory is dedicated to them, to my family, sponsors and to everybody who have always believed in me".

Adriano Morini -- Team principal "Augusto has demonstrated that he is matured, as a driver, race by race. Now he can show all his value, especially because nothing is given as a present. I'm sorry for Sven because he could achieve a good result here. Now, as soon as we come back to Pontremoli, we are going to resolve his problem and we will bring him to Mr. Ceccarelli for a recovered therapy".
