With 5 poles and 3 consecutives victories (6 podiums for Augusto Farfus on 7 races done), team Draco leaves for Jerez motivated for another podium finish and with a strong will to cement its leading position into the team's classification. The constant performance of the Brazilian 20 year-old driver emerged since the beginning of the season, where Augusto has always finished on podium, achieving fastest laps too, when not involved in any accidents with Bruni. Team-mate German Sven Heidfeld will be at the wheel of his Draco Lola #7 on the Spanish track for the first time as he has never raced there before. During this season Sven has achieved a valuable experience on the 480 hp F3000 even if a deep pain at his chest (due to an accident while training in go-kart) has afflicted him for two races.
2003 NEWS -- Introduction of some news for the 2003 season such as: a greater internationality with a race planned on a F.1 track such as Magny-Cours; a wider TV coverage (2live" and postponed) in all Europe and World (www.filmcenter.com.br); new compound of tires provided by the Avon that have a higher performance of nearly ½ sec, plus a NEW exhaust system which makes the F.3000-Zytek sound more attractive and similar to F.1.
F1 LINK -- Both Team Draco drivers (Sven Heidfeld and Augusto Farfus Jnr) are involved in the famous "Associazione Mondiale Piloti" (www.nazionalepiloti.org) whose main purpose is to collect money (throughout football matches) to be then addressed to some associations for charity. Team Draco drivers play side by side to M. Scumacher, Alonso, Trulli and other famous drivers coming from different categories (F1, Rally, F3000,..). The entire takings are usually devolved to the AIMA, KINDER IN NOT -- UNESCO, IRDA and Andrea Tudisco and other Associations.
