ADM Motorsport has signed up young Austrian charger Norbert Siedler to front their challenge in the 2004 Superfund Euro 3000 Championship.

The 21-year-old has clinched the deal with the Milan-based team that brought Minardi driver Gianmaria Bruni into the limelight last year and won 5 races including the Bologna Motorshow.

Team Principal Renato Melchioretto, a former engine-mechanic at Autodelta- Alfa Romeo with Niki Lauda and Nelson Piquet in Formula 1, said: "We've chosen Norbert because we think he has a fantastic natural ability behind the wheel of a race car. His debut at Cagliari was really an extraordinary one and we are really looking forward to work with him."

Siedler got a lot of applause after an impressive 3rd place in his first ever F3000 race at the narrow and demanding street circuit, which was directly rewarded with a Formula 1 test for European Minardi by his sponsor Superfund.

After his visit in the factory Norbert Siedler said: "ADM is a very competitive team and I am very happy to sign this contract that should give me the opportunity to fight for top-positions. I still have to learn a lot about the car and the tracks but supported by all the experience of Mr. Melchioretto and his crew it will be much easier for me."

Siedlers partner in the Superfund Euro 3000 is yet to be revealed by ADM- Motorsport.
