Brazilian Formula-Renault Champion to race for ADM
Brazilian Allam Khodair will race for ADM-Motorsport in the Superfund Euro 3000 after securing his title in the national Formula Renault Championship in 2003.
"Allam has proven his potential in the last official tests in Vallelunga and I am very happy to give him a new platform for his career in Europe", said team-principal Renato Melchioretto after he had signed up the 22year old from Sao Paulo.
Kodhair added: "I am very happy to work with ADM-Motorsport and ready now to follow the footprints of my Brazilian compatriots in Formula 3000." Ricardo Sperafico (Champion 2000) and Jaime Melo (winner of the Sardinian GP in 2003) have already been shining for the Milan-based team not to mention Felipe Massa, who took the Euro 3000 title in 2001.
Renato Melchioretto is more than delighted with his driver line-up: "We have been working hard over the last couple of month to find a good replacement for Gimmi Bruni, who started impressively into the new Formula 1 season, by overtaking 4 cars in the first lap. Norbert Siedler, who only did one race in 2003, and Allam Khodair are two rookies but nevertheless we will work very productively through our testing programme to make sure that they are well prepared for the upcoming season."
ADM-Motorsport will launch their new project during the first official Superfund Euro 3000 tests at Vallelunga March 31th.
