1st September - Norbert Siedler set the pace in yesterdays private test for ADM Motorsport at the Hockenheim Grand-Prix-Circuit. With four race weekends ahead the 21 year old Austrian and his Brazilian team mate Allam Khodair completed their setup-work under try and sunny weather conditions.
Renato Melchioretto (Team Principal)
"We continued our preparation work for the four forthcoming races today, with both Norbert and Allam focusing on the usual set-up work. Norbert knows the track very well and was once again incredible quick. We worked out some improvements during the session and his lap time was even quicker than this years Pole Position of Vitantonio Liuzzi in a FIA F3000 car. By the way, this proves that the old car is still pretty competitive on quick circuits with long straights."
Norbert Siedler (car Nr. 3 - lap time: 1:30.7 min)
"Hockenheim is one of my favourite tracks and it still reminds me on my very successful last Formula 3 race. The conditions weren't easy for us today as there were also some very slow cars testing there at the same time. During my fastest lap I had to overtake a Porsche and a Toyota Yaris, and I guess the driver was a little bit shocked when I passed him. Nevertheless it was a good decision to organise a test on this challenging circuit."
Allam Khodair (car Nr. 4 - lap time: 1:31.3 min)
"It was good for me to learn another Grand-Prix circuit and the curves in the Motodrom are very interesting. For me it was even more impressive than you can imagine on TV. We tried some different setups and as usual the team was able to adapt the car very quickly to the track conditions. I would really appreciate to have a Superfund Euro 3000 race at Hockenheim."
