Auto GP keeps its positive trend. The most groundbreaking championship in Europe, in which the drivers will fight for a 200.000 money prize per each event, hails the entry of another team: it's Durango, the long-standing Italian team managed by Ivone Pinton and Enrico Magro.

It's a prestigious entry for Auto GP, as Durango has always been one of the best teams in motorsport, at the highest levels. Right after its birth, from 1984 on, the team took victories in Italy and abroad passing from F.3 to F.3000, wins that it managed to clinch again in the Formula One best feeder series, the GP2 Main Series.

Now, they've chosen Auto GP as their new commitment, deciding to challenge other renowned teams they already fought against in GP2, like DAMS, SuperNova and Trident. With a grid that gets richer every day and other big announcements to come in the next days, everything seems to fall in place for an incredible maiden season.

Enzo Coloni: "We are very happy to see how Auto GP keeps raising interest among the best teams in motorsport. This allows us to fulfil the quality criterias we announced at the championship launch, and it's also vital for a really hard fought season. With Durango we welcome a team who was successful in Italy and and in Europe, a guarantee of expertise and professionalism".

Ivone Pinton: "Taking the start of the new AutoGP championship for us means getting on a winning tradition, as witnessed by our victories in the Euroseries 3000 with Luca Filippi in 2005 and with Giacomo Ricci in 2006, while during 2008 we won the italian title with Omar Leal. So we are approaching this new tournament highly motivated and committed to get on with this winning series. Finally I'd like to personally thank Enzo Coloni and his staff for the high profile organizing job done. Considering the level of the teams involved it will be a magnificent challenge for us".
