Yasukawa on Qualifying:

"We've made a lot of changes to the car for qualifying and it obviously worked. I was in a really good rhythm toward the end of the session and I think I have finally really figured this place out. Trois Rivieres is one of the toughest tracks to figure out that I have ever been to. There are some tricks that you have to learn here in order to be fast, for example, there are three very important areas to this track and if you miss one area even slightly, that is it, you will be completely off. This track is very unforgiving. It is a pity, because when I did my best lap, there were waving yellows in several corners, so I had to slow down a little. The data logger shows that I lost two to three tenths of a second, so I think we could have been third. Of course we would like to start from the front row, but considering the way our weekend has been, I am pleased. Experience really pays off here; I think there is only one person starting in front of me that hasn't been here before."
