ALEX GURNEY WILL START 10TH

NAZARETH, Pa., - Team KOOL Green's Alex Gurney will start 10th on the grid for tomorrow's 60-lap KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship race at 3:00 p.m. Originally, when Gurney lined up to qualify his car would not start because of an ignition relay problem. Gurney was forced to back of the line and was given only one lap to qualify. He clocked a lap of 24.404 seconds.

Anthony Lazarro, meanwhile, is on the pole for the race after a lap of 23.454 seconds. Alex Tagliani will line-up next to Lazarro with the second best time of 23.796 seconds, while David Rutledge and Andrew Bordin share row two.

ALEX GURNEY, #27 Team KOOL Green Toyota/Swift: (10th with a lap-time of 24.404 seconds)

"We had an ignition relay problem with the Team KOOL Green car. I don't know, I guess that's the breaks. It would have been nice to get two laps, but it's good that the officials let us go to the back of the line. So, we did one lap and the car felt good. I'm happy with the car and 10th is not bad for only one lap. I think we have a good car and we should have a good race. Of course, I'm concerned about traffic in the race. But, I had a good chance to run real close with some guys in today's practice session. I think we have the car pretty dialed for running in traffic."
