LEGGE SCORES SECOND PODIUM IN FOUR RACES

During Toyota Atlantic Championship doubleheader held this weekend at Portland International Raceway, PKV Racing-backed driver Katherine Legge scored her second podium, four races into the schedule, after finishing third on Sunday's race.

The weekend saw Legge having great improvements. On Friday she had an engine problem. "I lost track time because of the engine problem and it was a bit disappointing for Saturday's race," Legge said after recovering from a spin at the chicane while running seventh late in the race, to finish ninth.

However, British Katherine Legge was able to rebound on Sunday's race, rounding out the top three. "We were more focus on today's race. I had a very good race. We did adjustment changes Saturday night and the car was very good today. Actually, I was the most improved driver, being second quickest. Definitely, the team (Polestar Motor Racing) did a fantastic job," she said.

With her third place this Sunday, Legge was able to regain some ground after experiencing some difficulties the previous two races and currently she is fourth in the Toyota Atlantic Championship standings with 93 points, trailing leader Tonis Kasemets by only 16 points.
