Wednesday testing notes from Firebird International Raceway.

- The Pacific Coast Motorsports stayed very late at the track Tuesday working on the car and adjusting the suspension geometry.

- As soon as the track was open at 9 a.m., Figge was on course, trying the car setup.

- At the start of the day it was overcast and chilly.

- Early on Figge was very with happy with the changes to the car.

- After just under one hour of running, Figge posted a lap quicker than any previously at Firebird, breaking the 52 second barrier.

- Following a brief brake, Figge returned to the track trying a slightly different gear package.

- Working on some different setup ideas, Figge went off course briefly, but suffered no damage and quickly got back up to speed.

- Just before the lunch break, the team decided to try some further gearbox changes for the afternoon session.

- The afternoon did limited number of runs as the crew did assorted changes to the car.

- Late in the day Figge went out and ran consistent quick laps.

- At the end of the day Figge had set the fastest lap of the test along with another driver.

- The team will return to the shop in Santa Barbara, Calif., and prepare for the season-opener at Monterrey, Mexico, March 23.
