Orsi season review

Hoover Orsi and the #9 us print/Hylton Motorsports Toyota Swift finished 6th - one spot ahead of their qualifying position in Houston this past weekend in the final CART Toyota Atlantics race of the 2000 season. Orsi ran as high as 5th but was battling a loose car and was unable to hold on to his highest position. "We tried a big change before the race and it didn't work out, that's the way it goes in auto racing, we still ran up front and did not damage the car as some others did." Orsi explained. It was Orsis seventh top-10 finish of the year thus securing him a seventh place finish in the championship.

Hylton Motorsports visited the podium three times this year but was plagued with three mechanical dnf's that would be hard to over come to finish in the top five in points.

"This year the team developed into a very competitive top team, the dnf's aside we had a great year for this young team and I expect us to be a contender for the championship next year." Said team manager Richard Raeder. " We have the tools to be on the podium every race".

Hylton Motorsports will be joining back up with Cart at the Fontana Motor Speedway on October 29th for their first annual party In The Paddock. Hosted by sponsor us print and celebrating this past season and what will be happening for the 2001 season.
