Ryan Lewis is in Montreal this weekend for the penultimate round of the 2006 Champ Car Atlantic Championship. This race marks the series' return to racing on permanent circuits, this time at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, home of the Canadian Grand Prix. It is a fast circuit with heavy braking areas where overtaking is possible but it is also home to the notorious "Wall of Champions" at the exit of the final chicane. The wall became legendary when it was hit by three F1 World Champions in the 1999 Grand Prix, ending the race for Damon Hill, Michael Schumacher and Jacques Villeneuve. It's something for the Atlantic drivers to watch out for this weekend!

Ryan has been out testing at Putnam Park in preparation for the Montreal race and is hoping to add to his tally of three podium finishes for the Mi-Jack Conquest Racing team. He is more at home on permanent race tracks than on the street courses so expect to see an on-form Ryan Lewis this weekend.

'Finally, we are going back to a road course! Not that I have not had success on the street courses we went to, but I'm happy to be heading back to a type of track that I'm a little more comfortable with,' confessed Ryan. 'I look forward to going to Montreal, it's a great city and I think it's a track that will suit my driving style. There aren't too many races left and I would really like to be able to end the season with a couple of strong performances, the team really deserves it.'
