Alex Figge #14 Worldspeed Motorsports Redline/Glycomax/Ironclad Swift
"I've really been looking forward to the Laguna Seca race. I've been there before and won a National Mazda race there in 2000. It's one of my favorite tracks, and the first track that I'm racing at this year that I've been to before."

"I am very excited to be going back to Laguna because I had such a great result. We won last time we were there and it was my first Atlantic win, so it really is a special track to me personally. I began my racing career on this track when I was part of the Russell Racing School, so I know this track very well. My dad and I have always loved going up here and racing. I think we are going to have a really good package throughout the weekend. We had a tough weekend in Milwaukee, so I am just looking forward to getting Sigma back up in the points in the battle for the championship."
David Wieringa #3 Sigma Autosport Swift 014.a
"From all the tracks we will be racing on, Laguna Seca is the track that I am looking forward to racing the most. Last year, Rocky won on this track, along with Max, and I have also recorded a win while I was racing in the Skip Barber Formula Dodge series. So with all this experience on the track, I am really looking forward to working together to find the right car set up and getting back into the fight for the championship."
Ryan Hunter-Reay #1 Hylton Motorsports/U.S. Print/Medlock Ames Winery
"I am glad we have a back to back I just want to get back to it and repeat our performance in Milwaukee. I am looking forward to Laguna Seca one of America's most famoust road courses. We have two track records in two of the last three races, now we just need a little luck to go our way."
Alex Garcia #8 Transnet Racing/Dixien Swift 014.a
"The track at Monterey has tremendous history. I like it a lot although I only know the layout from video games. I'm sure the track will be even more spectacular!" commented Garcia. "I am really looking forward to continuing the development of the 014 chassis. We need to test it more to continue improving. At Transnet Racing, the whole team is very dedicated to this task and will keep working very hard to achieve our goals."
Waldemar Coronas #88 Scuadra Fortia/Aviacsa/Standox/Maizoro Swift 014.a
"We improved our car throughout the weekend at the oval in Milwaukee. I think we will be better for the next oval in Chicago. Now I'm anxious to race at Laguna Seca after the test we had at Black Hawk Farms (Ill.). We were able to test for two and a half days there. I feel the car will be very good for the road course. I have come from a road racing background and going to a permanent circuit like Laguna Seca will be good for me and the team. I think we'll be more competitive there."
Eduardo Figueroa #86 Scuadra Fortia/Aviacsa/Standox/Maizoro Swift 014.a
"We had a very tough weekend at Milwaukee. Our guys did a great job getting the car ready for the race. At least I was able to finish my first oval race. Now I am looking forward to Laguna Seca next weekend. Coming back to the road circuit will be good for me. The Black Hawk test was very good for the whole Scuadra Fortia effort. We have road racing backgrounds and I thought the test went very well. I think we are looking forward to the Laguna Seca (June 9) and Portland (June 16) races. Those races should be more familiar to us."
Jonathan Macri #31 P-1 Racing/NTN Bearings Miller Genuine Draft Swift
"Coming off a podium finish in Milwaukee has boosted mine and the teams confidence. Last year I qualified second at Laguna Seca and finished fourth. This year testing went well earlier in the season and will be searching for my first career win.
Michael Shank Owner, Michael Shank Racing
"We're really looking forward to racing again at Laguna Seca. All of our guys tested well there in January, especially Rodolfo Lavin. He's now third in the championship, so he has a real opportunity to move even closer to the top of the points. Sepp Koster, who was forced to sit out Milwaukee, will be back in action this weekend. And Ryan Dalziel, who got his first taste of oval racing last Sunday, is excited about getting back to the road courses that he's more familiar with. So all in all, we're ready to go."
