Autobacs: Yasukawa's orange and silver Swift proudly adorns the logo of Japans largest automotive superstore, Autobacs. The "Creative Car Life Superstore" will soon make their American debut with a store in Orange County, California. The automotive chain has stores throughout Japan.
Running on the Ovals: A rookie in the Atlantic series, Yasukawa will make his first start on an oval in an Atlantic car this weekend at The Mile. Yasukawa has previously competed at the Chicago Motor Speedway while driving in the CART Barber Dodge Pro Series.
Yasukawa on the Milwaukee Mile: " What a fantastic place to make my first oval start in an Atlantic car. I am really looking forward to this weekend. We tested very well here a few weeks ago, and I think both Ryan and I have a good shot at bringing home strong results for the team and our sponsors. This track is a little different from most ovals being that it is so flat, however it is a lot of fun to drive. We have a busy six weeks ahead of us, but as a group we are working very well together, this team is full of talent. I am confident we are going into the weekend with a very good car."
