Brooks Associates Racing - Edmonton update

As the Atlantic series moves to the west coast and the West Edmonton Mall Grand Prix presented by The Brick Atlantic race, Brooks' drivers are ready for this airport course. Both drivers did well at Cleveland, a similar circuit, but see room for improvement at Edmonton. "Both guys really just need a little luck, to be honest. Alex has really done well moving through the pack and Carlos just needs a clean lap, both in qualifying and the race, and we'll have two good finishes for our drivers." confirmed John Brooks, team owner.

Carlos Mastretta's car will run the Canary Foundation logo in anticipation of the upcoming San Jose race. The Canary Foundation is the first national organization dedicated solely to changing the way we look at cancer by encouraging and funding research and development of technologies and techniques to detect cancer early. (www.canaryfoundation.org). At San Jose's Driver VIP Party, space on Carlos' car will be auctioned to an event guest. "This was a unique opportunity to help the Canary Foundation raise funds and we're happy to help any way we can. " said John.

The team also released its new website this weekend, www.brooksassociatesracing.com. "It was time for an update and our friends at Automatit did a great job. We wanted to give our drivers stronger visibility and promotion for their sponsors." said Sue Brooks, marketing manager for the team.
