Cooper King named race engineer for Margraf Motorsports

(February 6, 2001, Auburn, CA)-J. Cooper King, a 20 year veteran of motorsports with teams such as, PPI, PacWest, TWR Jaguar and Comptech, and most recently the product manager for Eibach dampers, is the new race engineer for the newly formed Toyota Atlantic team, Margraf Motorsports and drivers Zac and Hawk Mazzotta. "I am extremely pleased to be able to announce the addition of Cooper King to our team" said Bill Margraf, owner of Margraf Motorsports. "He brings a wealth of racing knowledge to Margraf Motorsports and his strong background in dampers will prove to be invaluable."

"I really appreciate Bill Margraf giving me this opportunity.  His
organization, preparation and professionalism are second to none.  I am
really impressed with Zac and Hawk Mazzotta.  Both are extremely fast and
have an natural feel for the race car.  It's something you just can't
teach.  In pre season testing I have already developed a strong line of
communication with both of them.  They will surprise a lot of people this
year,"  stated King.

Margraf Motorsports with drivers Zac and Hawk Mazzotta will contest the extremely competitive, 12 race, 2001 CART/Toyota Atlantic series starting April 7 at the famous street course in Long Beach, California. Past participants in the series include CART champions, Michael Andretti, Jimmy Vasser, Bobby Rahal, Danny Sullivan and 1997 Formula One World Champion, Jacques Villenueve.
