In the Points: Yasukawa is currently ranked fourth in the championship point's standings. A first lap incident last week broke a consistent string of five top-ten finishes. Yasukawa has three podium finishes under his belt this season, including a victory, which he earned in Milwaukee.

Did You Know: Yasukawa's talents extend far beyond the racetrack; he is multi-lingual. Yasukawa speaks English, Italian and Japanese fluently. A native of Los Angeles, he lived in California throughout his elementary education. Yasukawa attended high school in Italy while competing in the Centro Italiano Assistenza Karting Series, where he finished fifth in the championship. He has spends a considerable amount of time in Japan as his family now reside in the Tokyo area. Yasukawa set the goal to become a professional racecar driver at a very young age; he was in a kart before the age of ten. Racing has always been a fixture in the Yasukawa household as his father works for the McLaren Formula One team as the business development manager for Japan. Yasukawa returns to Japan frequently and considers both English and Japanese his native language.

Team Member Spotlight: This week's team member spotlight focuses on lead mechanic Yoshi Kundo. Kundo joined the defending CART Toyota Atlantic Champions, Hylton Motorsports in March. A native of Fuji, Japan Kundo worked in the Japan F3 and GT series before coming to the United States to work in the Indy Lights series. While working in Lights, Kundo was a member of the Conquest Racing team and Indy Regency Racing; this is his first season working in Atlantic. Kundo resides in Santa Ana, California.

Yasukawa on Cleveland: "I have been looking forward to returning to Cleveland all season. We raced therein the Barber Dodge Pro Series, so I am very familiar with the track. The track is fast, it presents some very high-speed corners and it is challenging yet a lot of fun. I have some points to make up after that unfortunate first lap incident last weekend in Toronto. We lost a position in the championship, so I will do everything I can to get that back in Cleveland this weekend. My team has been very successful there in the past, in fact they are the defending race winners, so it is my goal to repeat the victory and win in Cleveland this weekend."
