INDIANAPOLIS (September 10, 2002) - Two of Championship Auto Racing Teams' brightest rising American stars will receive national television coverage over the next week as CART Toyota Atlantic champion Jon Fogarty and Barber Dodge Pro Series champion AJ Allmendinger appear on the motorsports magazine show, RPM2Night.

Allmendinger, winner of six races and four poles on his way to the Pro Series championship, will be highlighted this Thursday, September 12th. Allmendinger, a 20-year old from Hollister, California, defeated Brazilian Rafael Sperafico in the championship by a record 68-point margin.

Fogarty, winner of two races and four poles during his Atlantic championship run, will appear Wednesday, September 18th. Fogarty, a 27-year old from Portola Valley, California, secured the season championship by winning the final race of the year at the Shell Grand Prix of Denver weekend, defeating Canadian Michael Valiante by a narrow 11-point margin.

Both drivers will sit down with host John Kernan in RPM2Night's Charlotte studio. RPM2Night, aired on ESPN 2, can be seen each weeknight at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
