Victory for Ho-Pin Tung on the 3 Hours of Zhuhai
Asian Le Mans Series meets for its final race at Sepang in Malaysia, December 8.

A walk over victory it was for Dutch Chinese racing driver Ho-Pin Tung when he won today the 3 Hours of Zhuhai in the Asian Le Mans Series, with his OAK Racing Team Total. Ho-Pin Tung is competing in this series as well as for the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.
His team mates David Cheng and Shaun Thong drove single stints today, while the more experienced Ho-Pin Tun drove a dubble stint of one and a half hours in the LMP-2 car of the OAK Racing Team Total.Ho-Pin looks back happy and satisfied, after scoring both pole position and the victory. ´My teammate David Cheng did the first stint and managed to bring the car in with a three seconds lead over the rest of the field. My junior colleague Shaun Thong took over and did very well. When it was my turn for the double stint we had a comfortable lead of 30 seconds.
I was able to extend that lead to 1 mintute 15 ! The team ordered me to slow down to save the car, especcially te gear box. At the finish line I had still a lead of 50 seconds,´ stated Ho-Pin Tung happy and proudly.
Asian Le Mans Series meets for its final race at Sepang in Malaysia, December 8. Ho-Pin Tung has to defend or improve his position in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, prior to that race at the Shanghai circuit.
