Asia Road Racing Championship has cited the addition of a new 1000cc class for excluding India from the series’ 2019 calendar.

India has lost its place on the Asia Road Racing Championship calendar after three seasons, with Korea taking its spot on the 2019 schedule.

Indian riders Prabhu Arunagiri and Sarath Kumar scored points in the first round of Asia Road Racing Championship at Malaysia's Johor Circuit.

Hari Krishnan and Rajiv Sethu finished the Asia Road Racing Championship season scoring more points in Asia Dream Cup, whereas Jagan Kumar suffered an unfortunate retirement in Suzuki Asian Challenge category.

The Asia Road Racing Championship which made its return to India for Round 5 of the 2016 season, intends to stage two rounds in the country in future.
