Scott Eldridge Joins Venturini Motorsports As Crew Chief For 2005

Concord, NC (12-11-2004) -- Committed to chasing down the team's 3rd ARCA Series Championship, Venturini Motorsports has turned to Scott Eldridge to crew chief the #25 Central Merchant Services -- Readyhosting.com Chevrolets driven by Billy Venturini.

In an already busy off-season for the Venturinis, today's announcement comes with a great deal of excitement and expectations for the 2005 season. "We are extremely excited to have Scott calling the shots this year," says team owner Bill Venturini, Sr.

"Scott has proven himself to be an outstanding crew chief. His experience and dedication will have a positive impact on the overall chemistry and success of our team. We had the opportunity to work together in 2004 at Nashville, Toledo and Berlin so I know the value of having him in our pits. Having 100% confidence in Scott, I can now concentrate more intensely on the day-to-day operations and direction of our team," added Venturini.

Eldridge, who crew chiefed the #67 car driven by Jason Jarrett (2001-2003), finished 2nd behind Bill Kimmel for Crew Chief of the year in 2001.

Billy Venturini, who is coming off his third complete ARCA RE/MAX Season, finished a career best 4th in the overall point standings.
