Jarrett finishes second at Toledo!

Jason Jarrett, driving the #67 ML Motorsports Pontiac, finished second in Sunday's running of the "GFS Marketplace 200 Presented by Federated Car Care" at Toledo Speedway. As a result, Jarrett moved up another notch in the point standings to third place, just 30 points out of second.

Kenny Schrader led the race until almost the halfway point, when he developed electrical problems and had to pull into the pits. That left Frank Kimmel out front with Jason trailing in second. Kimmel's crew did a great job in the pits keeping him out in front and in the clean air on the restarts.

"The #67 seemed better in traffic than Frank's car," said Jarrett. "Frank got out of the pits ahead of me, and got in clean air on the race track - I couldn't catch him."

"We dodged a few bullets out there today. We had a little bit of a problem with the last set of tires, but we were really pleased with the car. We had a good car out there today; we'll catch him next time," added Jarrett.

Television broadcast of the race can be seen on the Outdoor Channel on Sunday, May 11th from 4-6 p.m.

Jason Jarrett is the driver of the #67 for the ML Motorsports team sponsored by Biomet and Damon RV. Jason is also a member of the Coca-Cola Racing Family.
