NASHVILLE TN (8-8-03) RE/MAX International and ARCA announced today the extension, through December 2005, of RE/MAX's title sponsorship of the ARCA RE/MAX Series.

"In a time of considerable change in the motorsports arena, RE/MAX is very pleased to be a partner with ARCA, which has established its nitch within the industry and continues to magnify consistency," said Randy Morse, Vice President of RE/MAX International. "We've been very pleased with the return on our investment, and we are continually impressed that the returns continually exceed initial projections. We trust the racing community will underscore the stability of ARCA with this extension of the series title sponsorship for two more years."

ARCA President Ron Drager added, "At the onset of our conversations with RE/MAX, we established a set of goals to benefit RE/MAX as the series title sponsor and to elevate the series. This announcement is testament to how successful the ARCA RE/MAX Series relationship has been, and we are committed to making it even better going forward."

The RE/MAX real estate network, currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, operates in 43 countries with over 82,000 affiliates worldwide in over 4,500 offices.

For more than a decade, four-time ARCA RE/MAX Series champion and 1992 Rookie of the Year Frank Kimmel has been active on the tour. "To be able to announce something as significant as this, and so well in advance, speaks volumes for ARCA and RE/MAX," said Kimmel. "Adding two years to an existing three-year agreement is big. It says our series has stability, and we have high profile sponsors willing to commit to long term support."

In addition, Hoosier Racing Tire, in its ninth season as the Official Tire of ARCA, announced it would extend its exclusive relationship with ARCA through the 2006 season.

"We are very pleased to be a part of the evolution and growth of the ARCA RE/MAX Series," said Dennis Sherman, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Hoosier Racing Tire. "ARCA is recognized as one of the most exciting and well established stock car sanctioning bodies in the country, and it is a great place to showcase the capabilities of our tires. We are proud of our association with ARCA and the RE/MAX Series as they celebrate more than 50 years of motorsports activities."

The result of the extension of both RE/MAX's and Hoosier's commitment to ARCA is that it will provide more than $1 million in cash to be distributed directly to ARCA RE/MAX Series teams.
